Good old Bundaberg, and "A Truely Eggciting Eggsperience"

On Wednesday we set off to Bundaberg, having to drop off my budgie Dennis at my grandma's and grandpa's place =( i missed him. The drive was really long(i started playing minecraft on my laptop, it was fun), 4 and a half hours plus stopping places, 5 and a half whole hours! And my brother Johan was feeling sick too. When we arrived in Bundy we went straight to the Ocsar Motel where we sleeped for a bit (well dad Ynte and Johan did anyway) then woke up and set off to Mon Repos to see the turtles! we arrived at about a 6:00 and uncle Bruce arrived too (my dads uncle from bundy)met some people from the Netherlands, a couple on a honey moon or something, but they were traveling all round Australia in like a car, Literally seeing everything, alot more than me.They even went to New Zealand brew! The next best story of my travels is in the turtle information centre where we met 2 teen gents who a had a long and informative discussion with about Sea Bears and now I know not to throw bear traps into the ocean! :)
The Sea Bear
Power: ****
Danger: ***
"Breeding is extremely strange for a sea bear... they dont need a mate. they just spew out a baby!"
"The Sea bear is unknown for its shape and appearance but is well known for who it is. A Sea Bear cannot smile, because as Einstein said so E=mcbear, which now we know that Sea Bears explode if they smile. Sea Bears can also change colour, appearance and quality, Sea Bears are extremely dangerous creatures. So beware.. you never know.. your best friend could even be a sea bear......"
As long as a person or animal doesn't smile, there's a possibility that they could be... a Sea Bear....... Like cats and turtles and so on, which brings us to my next adventure The Loggerhead Sea Turtle.....
The Loggerhead Sea Turtle
At about 8 o'clock our group was called, they found the turtle.. It was a long wait until we saw it but i was entertained by my dad having a conversation with two American tourists. At last we were walking across Mon Repos Beach to find the turtle. and we did! find one going into the water. =( But then we found another one! nesting this time! =D It was sooo cool, first it burried a little hole then layed them then set off into the ocean.... wow. it was a beautiful sight to see. But the mother turtle layed them in a dangerous spot. because the tide was coming in! so as a team our group(group 4) together got to move the eggs to another safer spot! awesome! It was eggtremely eggciting! Shadows by Moonlight on the beach...... o.O  Too bad Johan felt sick the whole day , he didn't ave as much fun =(
The Great Barrier Reef
Johan was so sick that he wet his bed :3 We picked up Uncle Bruce at a servo and set off driving to the cruise boat, meanwhile Johans health didn't seem to improve, he shit his pants like 5 times, "I bet he had fun!"*sarcasm* Anyway we hopped on the long boat ride and finally arrived at Lady Musgrove Island, our group was W1 (Walk 1) so we got to do the Island walk first =) The boat to the Island was cool, it had a glass bottom to look at the fish (a different boat to the cruise one) Wait i forgot to say ... Lady Musgrove is in the..... Great Barrier Reef "One of the 7 wonders of the world" The Island we got to was a bird island, something like 1 million birds. Johan stayed at the start cause he was feeling so sick, and after about a minute of walking i decided to walk back (Ynte my other bro was pooped on!) and it stunk. Me and Johan found some dead corral and made and instrument. IT WAS SO COOL!! But then we hads to go back to the pontoon  where we arrived off the cruise boat.  Next thing was lunch (really yummy!). After lunch we decided to go on the semi submersible (like a submarine but half under water) Johan felt sick and was in the toilet so sadly he missed out. The Sub was pretty cool we took lots of pictures! After the sub it was time to snorkel.
Snorkeling in the Barrier Reef
Johan said he was desperate to go snorkeling (cause he missed out on the sub) so we went. I was excited but i had never done snorkeling before so i had to get the hang of it, and once i did  its was lots of fun! I had such a great time. but then we had to leave the reef. =( still miss it!
Great and Small Tides
The trip home was so uncomfortable, the boat was tipping side to side and water was splashing on top of us (like a super long and horrible wet and wild ride) people were vomiting and it was horrible. When we thought it was all over we were almost there when we stopped because the tide was so low, then we had to go on little boats the rest of the way. "What a Cruise" (i dont think i spelled cruise right that whole time but who cares)
Bundaberg and its Wonders
On Friday we decided to look at all the cool stuff around Bundy. 1st: The Hummock, what a view, Bundy's as flat as a pancake. 2nd:  The Hinkler Hall of Aviation, it was pretty cool, you should go there  3rd: Mystery Craters, they're craters in Bundaberg, i think they were caused by the extinct volcano, The Hummock. 4th: Bundaberg Brewed Softdrinks Factory, this was really magnificent, drinks were being made for everywhere and there was a information exhibition which was really fun and cool, and we got a 6 pack each of Bundaberg
Drinks! Yummy! :)
Cow Pads, Ruff and Frosty
On Friday we set off to Uncle Bruce's good old farm, greeting us as we arrived was Ruff, our pet dog, we had to give her to Uncle Bruce because we couldn't have her in our rental house :( But she's having lots more fun with Uncle Bruce on the farm!, too bad she lost her ball just recently, and her teeth are so unhealthy now so  practically if she chewed just a bit more her teeth would fall out! As we ventured the farm there was cowpads galore! Johan stepped in 1 or 2, the good old farm ay.. Then we found the termite infested house with the 3 legged dog Frosty underneath, just chilling. But it doesn't stop there, its driving time! :D Ynte is 16 this year so he's gonna get his drives licence, so we all got to drive dads car across the farm, it was really fun! Can't wait to get my licence.
GoodBye Bundy! I'll miss you!
Now we set off home, a long drive. Before I fell asleep we watched lots of The Chaser War on Everything, it was funny. Well thats the end of my adventure of Bundy, its posted a bit late cause i had to write it.
